Keith Wicker’s interest in photography began in 1980 when, at 14 years of age, his parents gifted him with a brand new Canon AE-1 for his second trip to Europe. Keith transitioned from film to the digital photography world in 2006. The majority of his images these days are taken with mirrorless digital cameras, but he has recently returned to film for some projects, specifically medium format black and white. His primary subject interests include travel, architecture, landscapes, cityscapes, and of course various subjects in monochrome. Post-processing is kept to a minimum to keep images as natural as possible. Over the years, Keith has received many compliments on his work from friends and family. Keith is a "passionate and enthusiastic amateur” who struggles much of the time with composition, but every now and then gets lucky with a great shot! Keith spends his week days as an information security professional and resides in the Houston, Texas area with his wife Maria and their furry canine children Gunther, William, and Howie.
